Privacy policy

Data controller
Nathan Bonelli, sole proprietorship (auto-entrepreneur), trading as Nexuss for GeoPrice. Further details on the legal notice page.
Data collected
- During visits: excerpts or URLs related to booking pages where the extension is active; minimized where possible (external IDs removed when feasible).
- For an account: email address; password hashed only on the identity provider side (never share your password with support chat).
- Subscription type (free / Pro) synced to unlock planned features.
- Card preferences only when your browser offers to store them locally: they do not leave your device unless you explicitly agreed in writing (default: browser local storage only).
Purposes
- Make the extension useful: better visible price gap estimates.
- Give you the space to see subscription status after payment.
- Ensure security, abuse prevention, and lawful operation.
No resale
We do not sell your personal data in identifiable form to advertising third parties.
Legal bases
- Legitimate interest when we improve general operation while balancing your rights (very limited audience measurement).
- Contract performance for paid account hosting when necessary.
- Explicit consent for PostHog audience measurement (Accept / Decline banner on site and extension).
Audience measurement (PostHog)
- When you accept the "Activity measurement" banner, we use PostHog (EU hosting) for pseudonymized usage stats: page views, product events (comparisons, technical errors), extension version. Data is used only to improve GeoPrice; not sold or used for off-service targeted ads.
- If you decline, no PostHog script loads. You can withdraw consent by clearing local site and extension data, then declining again.
- For connected accounts who accepted, a technical ID may link web and extension usage — never for resale to third parties.
Retention · deletion
- On a serious request: user record deactivated or deleted within a reasonable time, target up to thirty (30) business days.
- Invoices or accounting records kept outside active database per legal obligations.
Your rights
- Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability where applicable: write to the address above.
- You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (e.g. CNIL in France).
